Our client, a respected and well-established insurance defense firm in the Denver Tech Center, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney with a strong background in construction defect defense. Key Responsibilities
Manage a primary caseload of construction defect defense matters involving developers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
Handle additional general liability, personal injury defense, and premises liability files.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and case evaluations.
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
Prepare case strategy and communicate analyses to insurance carriers and clients.
Work collaboratively with a strong, experienced team of defense litigators.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Colorado (required).
2-7+ years of civil litigation experience, with at least some exposure to construction defect matters.
Prior insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and hearings is a plus.
Team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow professionally.

$85,000-$135,000 depending on experience.
